Alicia Beveridge - Lead trainerhttp://www.bottomsupfitness.com.au
Alicia’s energy and enthusiasm for life and sport is matched only by her passion for helping other women discover just how much fun exercise can be!
Originally from Tasmania, Leash has been playing high level competitive sport from as far back as she can remember. Mostly, she kicked butt in the 800m and long distance events, competing for NSW countless times. After leaving school, she studied journalism and fashion, while also working in a few big name gyms to build up her knowledge around resistance training. After graduating, she decided to take a break from the athletic side of things to flex that other all-important muscle, the brain!
A stint working in editorial and fashion for Cosmopolitan Health, Bride & Pregnancy Magazines was a great opportunity for Alicia to further explore her passion for working with strong, fabulous women and after a few years of listening to stirring stories of heartache, love and the eternal search for health and happiness, it was time to go back to the drawing board and figure out how she was going to get involved in the health and consulting industry full time.
So it was back to study for Alicia and having completed her certificates in fitness and personal training, she has now brought her passion and energy for fitness and female wellbeing to the BUF team.
Inspiring people to make exercise a pivotal component of their lives is what Alicia’s all about – she believes that exercise has healing properties, particularly when combined with a nutrient dense diet and a bit of good ol’ fashioned fun!
